CREATOR IP & SUBMISSION
TERMS_
These terms govern any design you submit to SITR through the Creator Program — what we can do with it, what you keep, how royalties work, and what happens if things don't work out. By submitting a design, you agree to the terms below.
Eligibility & Acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to submit a design through the Creator Program. The design must be your own original work, or you must have full legal rights to submit it.
By uploading a design through the submission form, you confirm you've read and agree to everything in this page. If you don't agree, please don't submit a design.
Ownership & License Grant
You keep ownership. Submitting a design to SITR does not transfer copyright — you remain the legal owner of your original artwork.
What you grant us: if your design is approved and goes into production, you give SITR a worldwide, royalty-bearing license to reproduce, print, manufacture, distribute, market, and sell merchandise featuring your design, for as long as that design remains active in our catalog (see Section 08). This includes using your design in product photography, the website, social media, and other promotional material connected to that product.
This license is exclusive for apparel/merchandise use while the design is live in the SITR catalog — meaning you agree not to sell the same design as physical merchandise elsewhere during that period. Outside of merchandise (e.g. showing it in your personal portfolio, with credit to SITR), you're free to use your own work however you like.
Royalties & Payment
Approved designs earn a royalty of ₹30 per unit sold (or the current rate published on the Creator Program page, which may be updated for future submissions).
- Royalties are calculated on net units sold (after cancellations/returns) for the relevant payout period.
- Payouts are processed monthly via UPI or bank transfer to the details you provide.
- You're responsible for any taxes owed on royalty income under applicable Indian tax law.
- Royalties stop accruing once a design is removed from the active catalog (Section 08), but any amount already earned up to that point is still paid out.
Review & Approval
Submitting a design doesn't guarantee it will be produced or sold. SITR reviews every submission and may accept or reject it at our discretion — for reasons including (but not limited to) brand fit, print/production feasibility, originality concerns, or quality.
If your design isn't selected, you keep full rights to it with nothing granted to SITR, and you're free to use or resubmit it elsewhere.
Your Promises to Us
By submitting a design, you confirm that:
- It's your own original work, or you hold the rights needed to submit and license it to us.
- It doesn't copy, trace, or substantially reproduce someone else's copyrighted artwork, trademark, or logo.
- It doesn't contain hate speech, illegal content, or anything that infringes a third party's rights.
- You have the authority to grant SITR the license described in Section 02.
Indemnity
If a submitted design turns out to infringe someone else's rights, or breaches any of the promises in Section 05, you agree to be responsible for resulting claims, losses, or costs SITR reasonably incurs because of that breach.
Credit & Promotion
Approved creators are credited on the product page and tagged when we promote the design on social media (where handles are provided). You're welcome to share that your design is sold on SITR and to link back to the product — we just ask that you don't imply broader endorsement beyond the specific collaboration.
Term, Removal & Termination
A design stays in the active catalog at SITR's discretion. We may retire an underperforming or outdated design, generally with advance notice to the creator where practical. Removing a design from sale ends future royalty accrual but doesn't affect royalties already earned.
Either side can end the working relationship for future submissions at any time; this doesn't affect royalty obligations on designs already in the catalog at that point.
Confidentiality
Internal figures shared with creators — like sales counts, leaderboard standings, or payout details — are for your own reference and shouldn't be redistributed or screenshotted for public posting without our okay.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the Creator Program will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the Creator Program evolves. Changes apply to future submissions; if a change materially affects an already-approved design, we'll let you know directly.
